Нодамэ Кантабиле

Nodame Cantabile follows the story of Sinichi Chiaki, a talented young musician who dreams of becoming a conductor. Coming from a family of renowned musicians, Chiaki is an absolute perfectionist, strict not only with himself but also with those around him. The only thing holding him back in Japan is his phobias: Chiaki is afraid of both flying and traveling by ship. In his fourth year at the conservatory, Chiaki meets Megumi Noda, or Nodame as she calls herself. The girl appears disheveled, has a quirky personality, and a peculiar way of speaking, yet at the same time, she plays the piano astonishingly well. Fortunately or, rather, unfortunately, to Chiaki's displeasure and irritation, they end up being neighbors in the dormitory. As the story unfolds, their lives become intertwined, and they begin to influence each other's musical journeys, leading to a series of humorous and heartwarming events that challenge their perceptions of music and life.
